3D Radio, LLC was founded in 2007 in Boulder, Colorado, to commercialize 3D Radio. 3D Radio, LLC is the sole worldwide licensor of the technologies, patents and other intellectual property that comprise the innovations of 3D Radio.  Please use our “contact” page to let us know of your interest in our technology.

The original development company was formed in 2000 by the husband-and-wife team of Mike and Caron Ellis with a mission “to use our leading-edge patented technology to create new and exciting products for everyday life.” 

Founder Profiles:
Mike Ellis has been creating, designing and bringing to market high-tech products for more than 25 years.  He has more than 50 issued U.S. patents, numerous foreign patents, and dozens of pending applications.  Mike graduated with honors from the California Institute of Technology with a degree in engineering and applied science.  Mike's bio

Chief Executive Officer:
Jim Gutman joined 3D Radio in February 2008 to bring executive leadership to the organization. With 30 years experience developing new technologies, systems and process engineering, Jim sees the big picture in a way the founders don't. It's their baby, after all. Jim's bio
